Tough Mudder Funky Monkey Obstacles
The dreaded monkey bar obstacle at Tough Mudder. Some try to go over, some try to swing and skips bars, but the easiest way to make it is simply to go hand-to-hand on each bar.
Tough Mudder Jumpin’ Bale Obstacle
You can jump from bale to bale or just climb up, over, and down if you like. Not hard
Tough Mudder Walk The Plank
This is the ‘high dive’ obstacle at Tough Mudder. It’s actually higher than it looks once you are up there. Note that you actually can’t ‘dive” off the plank but you CAN do a flip if you like. Have fun
Tough Mudder Twinkle Toes Balance Beam Obstacle
One of the most difficult obstacles on the course in my opinion (perhaps because I fell!). Twinkle toes is all about balance – the tough part is the beam sways a lot as more and more people step on it. Drat!
Tough Mudder – Pass the time by SINGING?? (Funny)
12 miles of obstacles and running takes awhile so to pass the time consider running backwards and singing like this young lady did. Good stuff!
Tough Mudder Dirty Holes Obstacle and Tampa Course Tip
This Tough Mudder Obstacle is pretty simple. If you’re doing the Tampa race, note the tip on the cow barriers at the beginning
Tough Mudder Tip – Rest Stations
Every 3-4 miles is a rest station with water, fruit, and sometimes port-a-potties.
Tough Mudder Berlins Walls – Short Walls Portion
This is the SHORT walls portion of the Berlins Walls. Later in the course you’ll find the much TALLER walls. This one is pretty easy.
Tough Mudder Devil’s Beard Obstacle – it STINKS in there!
You WILL get muddy on this obstacle – even better you’ll come out smelling like cow poop – Bonus!

Tough Mudder – one of the Hay Bale obstacles – this is the small one. very easy.
