I discovered a great Everyday Pan that’s affordable – Cuisinart Chef’s Classic 12-inch Stainless Steel Everyday Pan

I’ve been in the market for a stainless steel Everyday Pan every since we started upgrading to stainless steel cookware a couple years ago. During a recent family vacation at the always awesome Sand Cay Beach Resort in Longboat Key, we found ourselves using a particular pan, well, every day. It was a 12-inch stainless steel pan that turned out to be incredibly useful – it was just the right size to cook pretty much everything in from breakfast to dinner. We loved it so much we ordered one from Amazon so that it would be waiting for us when we got home. Best of all it was a great price. That pan was the Cuisinart 725-30D Chef’s Classic Stainless 12-inch Everyday with Dome Cover.

What is an Everyday Pan?

Whether you call is an All-in-One Pan or a Weeknight Pan or an Everyday Pan the concept is pretty much the same – these all-around, everyday pans are great for making meals after work and they serve in place of multiple other pans in the kitchen. Sometimes they have a long handle like a fry pan, sometimes they have two short handles on the sides, but the always seem to have sloped, rounded sides and are easy to use for making one-pan meals any time of day. With a wide base, the stainless steel version of the Everyday Pan can be your go-to for searing and browning meats, and those sloped sides allow you to use it to simmer stews or sauces. Best of all the stainless steel conducts the heat so well you don’t need to use high heat. I’ve also found them easy to clean (pro tip: if you get any stuck on foods, simply use a bit of cooking wine to deglaze the pan with a plastic or wooden spoon and cleanup is a snap).

I’ve wanted an Everyday Pan for awhile and there’s been numerous times when I wanted to pull the trigger and buy the All-Clad All-in-One Stainless Steel Pan. We love our other All-Clad pans and you’ll never go wrong with this brand, but the price of their All-in-One and Weeknight Pans are often upwards of $200 (as of June 2022) and with runaway inflation money just doesn’t seem to go as far as it used to anymore. Additionally, I didn’t want a long handle on my Everyday Pan.

We have other Cuisinart Stainless Steel cookware and we’ve been very happy with them, so when we discovered the Cuisinart Everyday Pan during our trip and ended up using it every day, well we were quickly sold. I love the short side handles on the pan and how easy it is to cook with.

Give this Everyday Pan a try and let me know what you think.

Cheers!
